2024 YEAR IN REVIEW!

As of January 13th 2025, Prophet of the Sun is 204 pages long! I managed to stick to the two pages a week schedule, and get ahead by 8 pages for my patreon.

I printed chapter 1! I don’t think I advertised that very well but you can find Prophet of the Sun in some comic book shops in Seattle OR buy it online

I made a big stink about it already, but I fixed my website! I’m very happy with how it looks and works now, especially because I can get comments! I’ve gotten a lot of very sweet/funny comments over the year and it makes me so excited to know people are finding and enjoying my work :)

In July I joined spiderforest comic collective and that has made a HUGE difference for me. Not only did my readership triple, I’ve also made new friends in the comics community.

I was very optimistic about social media one year ago, but I did not enjoy them. I have abandoned the X and instagram account, but you can still find me active on tumblr @prophetofthesun. I also gave up on mirroring the comic to webtoons because it is unfriendly towards anything more than PG, and they took down my depiction of Borvyn’s cartoon ass.

SAD NEWS TIME: Patrons will know I developed carpal tunnel in December and burned though all my buffer. I am recovering fast enough that I think I will be able to keep up with the comic and won’t have to go on hiatus, but we shall see.

A LOOK INTO 2025

Chapter 2 will be wrapping up in mid March, and then I will go on a month long break to get all my ducks in a row for chapter 3. In the break you can look forward to fanart from friends and readers. There’s some cool stuff!

Chapter 3 will debut in May, its about 100 pages and the top review I got from beta readers was “Jesus Christ dude.”

I don’t have a lot of ambitious plans for this year. I am injured and working nearly full time, so my greatest focus is just keeping up with the two page a week update schedule.

But that's okay! The comic on its own is exciting enough! I love the finale of Ch2 and I hope that people show up at my home with pitchforks and torches when they see what I have done.
