I wrote up a little year review thing on my patreon:
I went live online on July 3rd. I have posted 94 pages. That's nearly 4 pages a week!
Chapter 2 is completely drafted on paper. It will be approximately 135 pages long, so with the current 2 pages a week schedule, the next chapter should be fully online in early 2025. That's a scary timeline, but if I keep drawing faster than that, I may just post the end of the chapter in bulk whenever its ready.
Website: Slowly but surely I have fully fleshed out the website. I now have a working comments section, a guestbook, and a page for fanart!
Social Media: With the help of my wife, I have set up a bunch of social medias to post about updates, along with a Ko-Fi as another way to plead for money. You can check out my Linktree to see all that stuff. Comic Promotion: I submitted my comic to many promotion websites, such as Webcomic Ring, ComicRocket, TopWebcomics, and more! I also uploaded it onto Webtoons, where it might reach a more mainstream audience.
Patreon: My hope is that the Patreon will be at least 2 weeks ahead of the comic, so that there's a real incentive for people to support me on here. I'm working on building that buffer. I don't think I'll be offering anything else on Patreon for now, except for occasional infodumps about costume and setting design.
Website: The archive is still buggy, and I think I will have to rebuild it from scratch one of these days. I also want to work on better accessibility, tagging all of the pictures so that they are described if they don't load.
Transcript: The comic is already fully written in text form. I plan to revise the script of chapter 1 to match the dialogue of the comic pages correctly, so I can post an accessible script version of the story.
Promotions: I want to design stickers/postcards/business cards to help get the word about my comic a little more. If there's demand for them I might sell the stickers but otherwise I will just print them out and throw them at my friends.
?????Publishing????? The local comics shop has said they would be interested in buying print copies of my comic if I had them. I have a goal set up on my Ko-fi to get the money together to make the first test print to pitch to shops!
I think that's it! Thanks for reading!
